(More?) Pigs Brain

Last week we talked about how the human brain doesn't have an immune response and white cells can recognize the brain as "foreign" so just came across this article and thought it was interesting...

It seems that there are more health-related cases around the country involving factory workers than many years ago. I wonder if in decades past workers experienced many of these neurological problems in the factories and slaughterhouses that they worked in. Perhaps due to increased health awareness and education, these findings are finally surfacing.
